Galerija AŽ / Galerija Klovićevi dvori
This installation explores the relationship between two physical spaces, the Žitnjak Atelier and Klovićevi Dvori, through a three-dimensional spatial intervention. By using LED strips and PVC channels, the artist transfers the floor plan and wall positions of the Žitnjak Atelier into a new gallery space context, creating a spatial drawing that visualizes architectural elements of one space within another. This spatial drawing defines the positions of screens connected via a web application and cameras. The screens enable communication between two physically distant spaces, live connecting the Žitnjak Ateliers with the installation space in Klovićevi Dvori. Through this interactive network, the work explores the boundaries of spatial perception and technology, bridging the distance between two locations and offering visitors simultaneous insight into both worlds.
The installation is part of the Žitnjak Atelier Open Doors Days on December 7, 2024, located in the AŽ Gallery space. It is complemented by another segment of the installation in the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, featured in the exhibition “Žitnjak Ateliers – From Periphery to Center”, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Žitnjak Atelier’s founding.
